Three day tour itinerary ( With Tuk Tuk and Car with A/C)

3-DAY TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY ONE : ( 9 hour per day including lunch break).

Pre Rup, East Mebon, Banteay Samre, Banteay Srei, Preah Khan,  Neak Poan temple and visit FOCO.
Note: For visiting each temple, the driver will decide to see which temple first and it depends on the time of visit. So you don't need to follow the order of the temples in order to avoid the crowd.

At 6:50 am, you will be picked up from the hotel. This is to avoid the crowd.

• Pre Rup (Khmer: ប្រាសាទប្រែរូប) is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer kingRajendravarman  and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite andsandstone construction.The temple’s name is a
  comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among
  Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.

• East Mebon temple:The East Mebon(Khmer: ប្រាសាទមេបុណ្យខាងកើត) is a 10th Century
  
  temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of KingRajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir.The East Mebon was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and honors the parents of the king. Its location reflects Khmer architects’ concern with orientation and cardinal directions. The temple was built on a north-south axis with Rajendravarman’s state temple, Pre Rup, located about 1,200 meters to the south just outside the baray. The East Mebon also lies on an east-west axis with the palace temple Phimeanakas, another creation of Rajendravarman’s reign, located about 6,800 meters due west.
• Banteay Samré (Khmer: ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយសំរែ) is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia located east of the East Baray. Built under Suryavarman II^[1]:119 and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style.

• Banteay Srey (Khmer: ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយស្រី) is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located in the area of Angkor in Cambodia. It lies near the hill of Phnom
  
  Dei, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom.^[1] Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art.

• Preah Khan (Khmer: ប្រាសាទព្រះខ័ន; "Royal Sword") is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the 12th century for KingJayavarman VII to honor his father. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatatakabaray, with which it was associated. It was the centre of a substantial organisation, with almost 100,000 officials and servants. The temple is flat in design, with a basic plan of successive rectangular galleries around a Buddhist sanctuary complicated by Hindusatellite temples and numerous later additions. Like the nearby Ta Prohm, Preah Khan has been left largely unrestored, with numerous trees and other vegetation growing among the ruins.
• Neak Pean (or Neak Poan) ^[2] (Khmer: ប្រាសាទនាគព័ន្ធ) ("The entwined serpents") at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.^[3]:389 It is the "Mebon" of the Preah Khan baray (the "Jayatataka" of the inscription).
• Visit FOCO orphanage ( http://www.focochildren.org/partners.php). Optional and there is no trick or forced donation of this visit.

DAY TWO :

Ta Promh, Ta Nei, Angkor Wat. After lunch break, continue to South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, terrace of elephant and leper king.

At 6: 50 am you'll be picked up from the hotel. This is to avoid the crowd.

• Jungle-clap Ta Prohm, The movie called Tomb raider. You’ll see how the tentacle-like tree roots are slowly strangling the surviving stones. It’s an evocative sight. Admire the temple in the early morning light and with fewer people around than later in the day.

• Ta Nei  ( Hidden temple in the forest). 
• Angkor Wat ( From the east entrance). To do this, you can avoid the large crowd from the west. You will enjoy your time for a while before you join them in the temple. It's avoidable as you will go to the third level ( only one stair there). 

• Lunch break ( The driver will recommend the restaurant for you)

• Bayon: Our journey continues with a tour of the South Gate of Angkor Thom, 54 Asuras and Devas holding a Naga to form a beautiful rail of the bridge of the 12 century city. Then move to the center of this city where we see the smiling faces of the Bayon temple, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.

DAY THREE:  ( Roulous market, Kompong Pluk,  Chausrey Vibol temple, roulous group temple, Wat Thmei and artisan D’Angkor school): 

After breakfast, you will be taken to visit 

• Rolous market: Daily life Cambodian style.
• Kompong Pluk ( stilted and floating villages of Tonle Sap).

• Chau Srei Vibol in Cambodia is a small charming temple on top of a hill which hardly sees any visitors - very few non-locals have heard of it, and it is set just far enough away from the main tourist routes. The central sanctuary has not been restored and is in a ruinous state but this is one of the main attractions of the site. Originally the temple would have consisted of at least two laterite walls divided by a moat, the central sanctuary, and a library to the East. Nowadays the outer wall is not visible and only the some parts and the gopuras of the inner wall remain - still enclosing a large area of shaded forest around the central temple. The sanctuary is on top of a hill and a modern Buddhist wat has been constructed nearby.

• Rolous group temple: Roluos is a Cambodian modern small town and an archeological site about 13 km east of Siem Reap along NH6. Once it was the seat ofHariharalaya,^[1]:98 first capital of Khmer Empire north of Tonlé Sap (as the first capital in the strict sense of the term could have beenIndrapura, identifiable with Banteay Prey Nokor. 

• Wat Thmei:  In Siem Reap, the memorial is a small building at Wat Thmey with glass windows housing the skulls and bones of some of those who perished. There are also a couple of boards with fading photos showing life in the dark days. It doesn’t take long to go round. 15 minutes at most on the way back from Angkor. It’s part of the past that many people would like to forget. But, like war memorials in Western Countries, it serves as a warning to future generations.

Note: Please wear proper clothes for temple visit If you wear shorts and t-shirt, please make sure they are long enough to cover your knees and shoulders. You have lunch near the temples with the advice of the tour guide for time and place.You can spend USDs here, but we don't accept old or torn notes.
